Boogie Boutique provides a platform for urban culture to showcase as well as to allow like minded peeps to network in a creative environment with a backdrop of live music and dj’s. July’s installation will take place at the Everybody Love Everybody art and design studio’s on 50 Cantebury St, Cape Town  on Friday 27th of July. The event is powered by YES!, AMA Kings, Sushiandbeer Apparel and So Treal Music.  LADIES FREE BEFORE 22H30

A little bit about the peeps throwing some tunes down:

Black Vulcanite

Tumi

An upcoming vocalist by the name of Tumi, hopes to bring R&B and neo-soul to the forefront in SA. A singer in her own right, she has been making some moves on the local scene over the last few. Popping up on vocals over some of SA finest beat makers: which is keenly displayed on her sound cloud page: http://soundcloud.com/tumi-1 as well as guest vocalist for live acts such as Crazy White Boy (monster track) and Ill Skillz . A very common nickname, aspires to bring a sound that is the exact opposite. As a die-hard music fan (first), she does not limit her music to any genre, but rather, to her influences – which are limitless. Although her sound could be dubbed as Neo-Soul/R&B; Pop, Jazz and House influences are very much a part of it.

Check it out later tonight if you’re down for a bit of something different!
