by

Bob Skinstad in action

The Cape Town Tens has become the world’s biggest Tens tournament and in just over a month it returns in 2014. The tourney kicks off at Hamilton’s Rugby Club with a Gala Dinner on Thursday evening the 6th of February and the rugby and netball games on the 7th and 8th February. During the course of the weekend 100 social rugby teams will play up to 800 games and with the addition of 40 netball teams to the mix, Cape Town Tens is going to be a highlight of the year!

The tournament will be celebrating its 6th year anniversary in 2014 and has plenty of changes in store, including a revamped kiddies play area with child minders, jumping castles, and magicians as well as specific rugby, netball and cricket clinics tailored for the kids. In addition they’ve thought about those of us wishing to fill our tummies and be merry with a brand new 450m² Food Lovers’ Market tent, a massive beer tent and live entertainment throughout the day by Tens favourites Me & Mr Brown.
