We are always excited about the huge international djs that are brought down and I’m sure everyone is most excited for the likes of Talamasca, Bim and the lovely Rosa Ventura… But honestly, no one gets a dancefloor bouncing more than Skitzo! perfect way to start the vortex experience! Vortex is the long awaited, most amazing outdoor party of the season. Not only do we get spoilt with mind blowing decor, crazy beautiful people, but we are privileged to be able to experience the best local and international DJs such as Talamasca, Bim and Rosa Ventura as well as Skitzo, Psyguy and frozen Ghost and i cannot wait to be apart of TALAMASCA!!!!!! Every Party is a different experience so this is a once in a life time opportunity !
Oh my word! There are so many good ones that it is a sin to choose however if I think about it really carefully this is what I am most looking forward to:
Bruce – because he never fails to put a smile on my face even if he is playing a random 3am Origin set
Cooks – because she hots up a dance floor and really makes it simmer and boil
Satori – that baseline she always keeps there and the energy she creates with her sets are mind blowing
Lox – because he kicks ass!
And of course TALAMASCA because the music is dirty, deep, dark and kinda twisted which is exactly what my feet and mind will be after the stomp:-)

Among all other I shall mention 3.
Firstly Frozen Ghost, because it’s the most mental-crash bang-fuck you- trance that you’ll ever hear.
The Skragg, because personally I think he’s the best South African DJ. Not producer, but DJ
And Talasmasca ofcourse. The man is a god, like literally, I think he is Apollo incarnate. I have never listened to anything more emotionally and spiritually evoking, and he’s latest album Psychedelic Trance epitomizes everything that’s good in psytrance today: bass-lines that roll on for years; percussion’s that give you that awesome feeling in your chest; and synths that just take you to another level. If love were personified through music then Talamasca is the key. Cannot wait to dance for 3 hours with my eyes closed
Oh and Monday is the 25th guys, not 24th

UNdoubtably Frozen Ghost!! My love of trance started midway through a Frozen Ghost set. Really want to stomp it out at easter vortex once again.
Its a toss up between Plusminus and Frozen Ghost, love both of them and they get so many people to stomp their asses off!

The last 2 times I have been exceptionally lucky to see a live set by Bruce I have been left in awe.
His bass filled beats and cheeky back sounds keep me on that dancefloor until its sadly home time.
At Origin I was feeling depleted after a mind blowing night of partying with wonderful souls. I started the long, wet walk back to my car, with no idea of time. Suddenly my mind was being absorbed by the most wonderful, dark, fun trance I had heard the whole party. You guessed it, Bruce was finally on! He brought me back to that dancefloor, turned my frown upside down and had me wiggling my tail feathers all over again.
I’m broke, I’ve been working way too hard at varsity and good God do I miss my trance family.

So I started a trance blog for a university assignment, and have been dying to see Plusminus so that I can write a killer review for it. The last time I saw Plusminus was the craziest experience ever. I woke up feeling disgusting after drinking way too many tequila shots with friends the night before. With only one hour of sleep, I was drained and didn’t know if my feet and body were able to stomp anymore. After frolicking in the ocean for the while, I all of a sudden heard Plusminus from the beach and my feet could not stop stomping. I danced my way through the beautiful crowd of people and found myself in the midst of the dance floor. At that moment, I could not contain myself as the music was pumping through my body! Best part about the set was a cool dressed up guy that stage dived into the crowd! The experience was unforgettable and I would do anything to see Plusminus again !! hey guys leaving for france after the party on monday and although there will plenty of france parties in my near future I would love to spend my last weekend at vortex, a proper TRANCE PARTY. would love to spend it grinding chicks, drinking too much and lets not forget, rocking my face off to the one abd only TALAMASCA, his beats tease my brain at a level that is better than the feeling of elation I felt when I had my willy caressed for the first time in 7th Grade!
