  2. Jamie Heradien says:

Tribe stands for togetherness where bonds are created or strengthened between brothers and sisters a like. Tribe for this party stands for coming together through a common love for trance, peace and having a crazy time, one love <3

  3. Max Wu says:

    tribe (traɪb)
    n. a social division in a traditional society consisting of families or communities linked by social, economic, religious, or blood ties, with a common culture and dialect, typically having a recognized leader.

Tribe means to me, the innate human desire for unfettered access to information, connection to the collective consciousness, liberation of the mind-body and a manifestation of the interconnectedness of all things; thus to immerse myself in the lush, ethnic vocal soundscapes, infectious beats and tantalizing changing of the moods – to experience an extraordinary & rewarding sonic trip that I will never forget.

    peace, love, unity and respect.

  4. Jonathan says:

TRIBE = Thrilling. Remarkable. Inspiring. Bewildering. Extraordinary.

  5. Warren says:

I could go on about how the trance scene is a modern day tribe bought together by peace, love, oneness and the love for the music, but instead I’d like to define the different people that make up a tribe.

First you have the shamans, these are the elders and the wise ones, they’ve been going to trance parties for years and have taken more psychedelics in their life than you can count. They can usually be seen at the back smiling and watching over everyone.

Then theres the village (tribal idiots). These are usually situated in the front right and often (more than likely) includes me. They can be seen jumping, laughing and generally falling over. Though they tend to be idiots, they are generally well liked. Not to be mistaken for the Tribal outcasts.

Tribal Hunter Gatherers – These guys are very easily spotted. Generally in the near vicinity of a nearly passed out tribal women looking for the first opportunity to pull in. Often also spotted wearing a vest. If not that they will be shirtless showing off there 8 pack. At night they are more than likely wearing lumo with something ridiculous written on their bodies.

Tribal women. – Like most tribes the women are revered and generally look after the tribe. They can usually be seen rubbing suncream, giving water or just generally looking after the passed out ones in the tribe.

Lastly we have the tribal outcasts – usually by Sunday midday they are gone but these guys tend to get as wasted as possible and make everything super unpleasant for everyone else. No one likes them. Easily spotted by the amount of space they have to themselves on the dance floor. Can also be seen trying to argue with people on a regular basis.

Now I better get back to my real job so I can afford to buy a ticket

  6. TRIBE stands for:

    Trance
    Respect
    Integration
    Beauty
    Expression

The culmination of those results in the epicness of TRIBE!

  7. shelley tomlinson says:

    Totally rocking instant balistic experience

  8. Andrew says:

Andrew Dibden likes to get tribal when not condemned to a socially individual lifestyle in the cubicle of conformity.

  9. Emke says:

a TRIBE is a gathering of families, connected by the same habits and traditions, awakening a spiritual journey TOGETHER as ONe, UNITED, ONE sound, ONE person, ONE love, ONE haertbeat, ONE NATION <3

  10. Cara says:

    Connection… togetherness <3

  11. Zaynab says:

a psyTRIBE is a collection of awesome people, coming together to share their love for music, bringing smiles, good energy, epic stomping and happy vibes to the dance floor :) <3

  12. Cari says:

Tribe ♡ an interconnectedness of amazingly beautiful people who share a love of similiar things, love making each other happy and sharing and making memories together.
I can’t wait to be a part of this beautiful tribe next weekend!

  13. Natalie Annandale says:

Tribe for me represents a group of people who are connected by a common thread – such as all you beautiful people who love trance, we are a tribe connected by our love for the music. <3

  14. Nicholas Jonker says:

A group of people that simply live for each other and not for themselves.

  15. Lauren says:

In my mind, a tribe is where a lot of people come together, to have fun and laughs, as a big family with the same purpose in mind. Tribes to me are seen as people that are mostly in the outdoors/nature with a similar dress code, respect each other and worship the same thing. :)

  16. Hayley New says:

To me, ‘tribe’ is a group of beautiful, unique people sharing and experiencing something they all love together as a family.
Soul-pumping music, good vibes, stunning surroundings, positive energy and happiness, one simply can’t not want to be apart of THIS tribe.

  17. Sarah Meyer says:

A tribe is a group of like-minded individuals drawn together by a common culture, ours being the trance culture. Our tribe is a family based on love and acceptance, it’s unhindered by ego or judgement. We accept people unconditionally, understanding that each member is an individual and must stay true to their natures. We go to our tribe gatherings for the same purpose, to enjoy ourselves, dance, laugh, make new friends and experience different points of view. <3 <3

  18. Melissa says:

People who come together with shared interests, building a community through family, friendship, love, understanding and trust. Connecting ideas and giving back to mother nature, with no cultural boundaries and with much diversity. 1LOVE 1TRIBE together as a unit we are stronger.

  19. Channen Vaudin says:

We all know a tribe to be a group of people that come together at a place for the same reason, from music to culture to love to friendship to all celebrate the good times which we’re about to share. Which in this case at a trance party we stomp out all our regrets, share our laughter, spread some love and have a jamma-lamming time. Pick me because I’ve never won free tickets to a trance party before and I guarantee you I won’t disappoint. Like they say eat, sleep, rave, repeat :D and let me tell you I live by my motto! Hope to see all your tribal faces there :)

  20. Samantha Bianchi says:

    TRIBE=Trance,Respect,Inspiring,Beauty,Expression:
Community of trance lovers who feel connected to each other through their love for trance. Trance is indisputably one of the most emotional genres that actually exists, because it is all self-interpretation, associating with a trance progression or hookline is deep, and much more personal, including everyone who understands the emotion the music brings as a Tribe.. A Tribe that exhibit excessive amounts of affection and acceptance to random other followers regardless of racial/religious/cultural boundaries. A close-knit musical TRIBE due to peace, love, unity and respect shared…commonly misunderstood by those who do not show respect for the same genre. A Tribe that forms a new world of love, peace and freedom. We join the great spirit – one heart, one mind, one TRIBE.

  21. Zian Blignaut says:

Tribe stands for the love that connects each human being to each other; whether they know each other yet or not. We are all interconnected and even though at times on different planes psychologically we connect one way or another with each other at some time in some way that makes us the tribe we are. Then ultimately, through togetherness we become this beautiful family (no bloodlines required).

  22. Stephanie says:

My definition of a TRIBE is a group of human beings or energies, that collaborate their vibes with open hearts to become a Family. It gives people the confidence to take off their masks and allow themselves to be revealed into the place we call home.I believe that we all choose our own tribe and it is a platform where time is non-existent and we able EXPLORE. They learn to grow together with freedom and warm hearts. We gain the gift of acceptance and unity .There’s a magic spark that is created in a tribe by people filled with unconditional love, respect, pure bliss and absence of ignorance and ego. And when different tribes come together at a party with music that has the ability to light fires in your mind, they allow themselves to b e co m e FREE&ONE with nature and everyone around us.This creates an infectious arua sealed with JOY and Pure BLISS <3. That's the experiences I LIVE for!!After my ADVENTURE @#AlienSafariMasqueBall @#OrganikGaianDreams I'm GARUNTEED that EXPERIENCE @#TRIBE.

This would be an AMAZING GIFT to start off festive:)

  23. Claudia Deirdre Ross says:

Tribe is a gathering of kindred souls, who’s community stems from deep seated needs and desires for a common goal. Where one can feel accepted and stay firm in your belief of the greater good. where life is about living it and not just being, while you are surrounded with like minded folk… It is experiencing the essence of being one together with everyone and everything while heralding that deep respect and love for all.

  24. Andru Harmse says:

ANDRU HARMSE- A group with something in common, the love for trance in this case, and that joyful bond you have with some randum RASTA you just met and realize that your no diffrent than him and thats how da TRIBE goes… Hope i will meet a new tribe at this TRIBE ♥

  25. Grant Wright says:

    Tribe=unity

  26. Mike says:

    Weekend chow = R100
    Weekend dop = R250
Petrol to get you there = R300
    “Pharmaceutical” products = R1000
The experience of going to a festival thrown by 3 of the top festival organization (TRIBE)= priceless ;)

  27. Courtney Raoult says:

The word tribe, to me, means to be a family, for many different and unique people to come to together and unite. Tribe is a word symbolizing unity, positive energy, family and acceptance, which every true stomper has.

Please can I win tickets, I know that its going to be an incredible party and i can’t miss it!
I promise you I will bring happiness, fun, and every single piece of energy I have. and spend the entire time on the dance floor. I have really been so excited for this party but unfortunately cannot afford a ticket :( so please make my dreams come true and I promise you, everyone there will not come close to the amount of fun I have! PLEASE!!

  28. Aaron Jacobs says:

A tribe is basically a big family. It’s based on the concept that our lives are better when we work together rather than compete with one another. For a group of people to be called a tribe there also has to be some kind of shared culture, tradition and/or heritage. So in the context of trance parties the obvious example is the love for dancing to psychedelic trance music. But the idea of a “psytrance tribe” is more than that. It’s place where everyone is accepted for who they are. This is because everyone is there to have fun and when everyone understands fun in the same way (psytrance), our energy can only be positive. In this context interconnectedness makes sense and the “tribe” flourishes.
    Peace to all :) <3

  29. Kreg says:
