The Thai Food Festival at the Emperors Palace
We know this has been runnning since Tuesday, but given that we at MCBN live for the weekend, this only hit our radar as something to do this morning!
Emperors Palace is hosting the Thai Food Festival from 2 to 7 November in Aurelia’s Restaurant, at the D’oreale Grande hotel.
Fans of traditional Thai cuisine will be abl indulge in the exotic flavours and spices of Thailand at this international food spectacle.
Three international chefs, Sakarin Honglattanvolakit, Surasak Kongsawat (Head Chef at Benjarong Thai Restaurant in Bangkok) and Arporn Kummalue from Thailand are working alongside Emperors Palace executive Chef Milton during the Thai Festival preparing classic Thai dishes for the South African public.
From 5 to 7 November the Queen of the Nile will host a Thai buffet with live cooking stations for R125. The festival ends with a Thai buffet Barbeque at Aurelia’s restaurant on 7 November and costs R175.
We’re thinking a the Sunday Buffet Barbeque at Aurelia’s could be the perfect way to cap off what is expected to be yet another glorious weekend in Jozi!
