In association with CapeTownAlive, the Show presents its second installment of some great comedy. I was lucky enough to get some free tickets from the boys at Cape Town Alive for the first show last week. I definitely wasn’t disappointed as the host Mum-z started off  “the Show” with a very energetic introduction and then allowed the best act of the night to step up first, Dylan Skews, he honestly had me in tears from the start to finish. There will be the same band as last week, The Brothers Streep, who take any topic, serious or non serious and turn it into an even funnier song. They were very impressive, so impressive they have got Steri Stumpi to sponsor them, they sang a song about Steri Stumpi’s last week(which was absolutely hilarious). This week ”The Show” they will be doing something completely different, and not the comedy I mean. It will still be the same great comedy, but there will be added extra’s. Take a look at this for a little enticement:

“This Thursday will be a full 3 course meal of entertainment with 5 comedians, your host Mum-z and The Brothers Streep. For starters, you will be able to take advantage of Happy Half Hour (R10 for selected beer, vodka & lime, brandy+coke), then there is Afro-Sushi will be on offer at uber-low super prices – 10 piece combo for only R50 (oh yeah… you heard me – R50 for 10 pieces, that’s 10 pieces of sushi, for only R50) and the new addition will be Irish Coffee or a Brand Coffee for R10 which will keep you warm during this wintery summer we are experiencing”

“Steri Stumpi will also be popping in to give props to The Brothers Streep (who are Steri Stumpi brand ambassadors) and of course Mum-z, you resident host who loves to give things away, will find something cool to auction or giveaway.”

If you are keen to get out during this weather. I think this is a great way to start your evening, nothing better the having a few drinks and having some laughs. Then ending up for some madness at Pure Filth. R50 gets you into the Albert Hall on Lower Main road WoodStock. Be there!
