Pete Tong’s Exclusive Performance at the Reserve (WIN VIP TICKETS!)

You’ll remember a few weeks ago, we announced that Pete Tong would be performing a rather exclusive set at The Reserve in Cape Town. This news got us even more excited than the hearing that the dance music legend would be playing a New Years Eve double header because it meant that we had the chance to get up close and personal, experiencing the goodness of the Pied Piper of dance in a more relaxed setting than the craziness of NYE.

Luckily for all of you, we’ve still got your back. We’ve been lucky enough to secure a set of VIP tickets to the 500 people max party taking place at The Reserve on the 4th of January 2013 with Pete Tong.

If you’d like to win the tickets- just let us know who did your favourite BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of all time. Simple. We’ll announced the winners on the 3rd. Good luck!

  1. Oakeys Essential mix world tour still blows my mind but I would have to say his GOA mix from 1996 is what started my interest in EDM. Almost 20 years old and still sounds fresh!

  2. Has to be when Pete took over the decks himself for his 20 years at Radio 1 celebration. He wound back the clock to his early days, playing his favourite tunes from the start of his career all the way in to 2012. Was pretty epic.

  3. My favourite would have to be Pete Tong when he dropped “Ben Pearce – What I might do” and mentioned Ricky by night !!!!!
Pure awesomeness – and hinted that he might be playing in SA.
Been listening to Pete Tong since 1995 – The Meister has landed
    Tickets please find me !!!

  4. but…second runner up has to be Paul Oakenfold 1999. Its still on my gym and road trip playlist ;) . With the best host of all time Pete Tong!

  5. One of the favourite episodes would have to be the “20 years of Pete Tong” when Pete himself returned to the Essential Mix turntables.
    What a show.
I can’t wait to see him if I win these tickets !!!

  6. My favorite BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of all time is Swedish House Mafia 2010 on September the 4th!

  7. Death in Vegas’ 2002 set marked the beginning of a new era in EDM for me. :) Pete Tong has always been a favourite but that set was something special.

  8. My favourite was Tiesto live at BBC radio 1 in 2001! A culinary mix of his best tunes and such a good track list which put him at number 1~!

  9. OMGosh! Once in a lifetime! and Gareth Devore…. please take me with you, I’m a renowned party friend! hope hope to see you at the Reserve! thanks so much for the opportunity xxx happy 2013!

  10. My favourite essential mix was DJ Lange around 6 years ago when there was still a lot of trance in the scene.. I think it was the same show as Satoshi Tomia (excuse the spelling) we in CT for the weekend.. Please make it happen..

  11. I Love origin festival because they provide the best djs….NANO RECORDS….NANO DJS…NANO PARTY…NANO VIBES. Love and light x
