Another artist has been added to list of stars on their way to South Africa this year… Olmeca Tequila is proud to announce the Steve Aoki SA Tour, brought to you by Electric. Electric are the peeps responsible for bringing out deadmau5 and Avicii to SA.
Steve Aoki is an American electro house musician (so don’t expect cultured build ups and long melodic breaks), record producer and the founder of Dim Mak records. He’s worked with the likes of Armand van Helden (Brrrat), Afrojack (No Beef), Laid Back Luke and Lil Jon (Turbulence), Tiësto (Tornado), LMFAO and Nervo (Livin my Love) and many more. I’ve seen him live and his performances are always pretty high energy and cray- appealing to a large portion of the kids that listen to dance out there.
Steve is probably most well known for his mad dj ryder which includes the likes of a canoe for crowd-surfing, should he get the urge. In keeping with their long-standing commitment to provide the best electronic music experiences to all the ‘party starting’ consumers of Olmeca Tequila and the public in general, the big tequila brand will be placing a great deal of funds behind the tour to make sure that it is a top quality experience.
Tickets will soon be available from Computicket. Show dates are; Friday 7th December in Cape Town – a massive Harrington Street block party (looking forward to this, cos it’s right around the corner from MCBN HQ); Saturday 8th December at the legendary H2O, Wild Waters in Johannesburg and Sunday 9th December at the one and only Wavehouse in Durban.
