GMS

GMS (also known as the Growling Mad Scientists) is a Dutch psychedelic trance duo which has attained significant popularity from the early 1990s to the present time (2010). Formed by Shajahan Matkin (also known as Riktam) and Joseph Quinteros (also known as Bansi) in the city of Amsterdam, located in the west of The Netherlands, the duo has attracted a large international fanbase. GMS founded Spun Records in 1999, the first psychedelic trance label in the United States and Ibiza, Spain.

In 2008, GMS left Spun Records to further concentrate on their own careers and had created in 2009 a new label to release all of their music from their own various bands called Starbox Music.

They have sold over 350.000 copies worldwide.

GMS won the Psy-Trance award twice (in 2001 and 2009) at the DJ Awards in Ibiza, Spain.

SONIC

Starting from an early age playing drums in various Metal,Hardcore and Grindcore bands in the 90′s he soon fell 4 the mezmorising pulses of electronic music and was instantly hooked!

After the 2002 Solar Eclipse party he fell in love with Dj scene and has been rockin dance floors since late 2003 with various Parties all over SA!

Been djing a cross over of full on and an electro hard psy to progressive!Anything with great groove has been a staple diet for the dancefloors that he has rocked over the party scene from Cape Town/JHB and Durbz!

Influenced by a host of producers/Dj’s from Nexis Media,Timecode,Alchemy,Nano plus NuTek and has dj’d alongside the finest from all over the world such as Azax Syndrome,Broken Toy,Domestix,Eskimo,Skazi,Atomic Pulse,The Commercial Hippies,Protoculture,Shift,Artifact,Scorb,NRS,Serious Porn Collectors,Rabdom L,Slug,Damage,Rinkidink,Killawatts,Avalon,Earthling,Antispin,Painkiller,Bliss,A-Team,Dino Psaras,Paul Taylor,Tron,Headroom,Dede,Shift,Twisted System,Phyx,Brethren,Rubix Cube,Biorythm,Frozen Ghost,Xatrix,Multistate,Lost & Found,Neelix,Perfect Stranger,Broken Toy,Deliriant etc.(List is growing on a decade of djing)
