Monday Music: Hypomaniacs “Systematic” EP

The Hypomaniacs (Stacey Hurwitz and Shaun Herschel) come from the landlocked city of Johannesburg, South Africa /// Originally drum and bass Dj’s and producers, the duo was becoming ever intwined in the need for more electronic pulses /// The hard Electro phat-stomach-churning beats, bass and synths, were too intense to ignore though, so the Hypomaniacs were born ///
Their first release “Breach” was included in “Metalectro Vol.02
“Danger Zone” compilation and immediately after that the duo collaborated on
tracks with Belzebass (“Revolution” EP), Gor FLsh (“Gor FLsh” LP) as well as completed remixes for Aaren Aeale, Hijack Da Bass and DkNato, while working at the same time on original material for their debut EP ///
The Hypomaniacs’ vocally dominated, foot stomping, face punching EP “Systematic” is out on August 19 on Jet Set Trash including remixes by A.G.Trio, Rubber Spanner, Hantise and Nadisko /// Grab your copy, play it loud and rest assured /// There’s No Way Back ///
