Mavericks #striptweet – now here’s a Twitter campaign we can get behind‏

Who remembers those pens with the lady wearing skimpy clothing? You know the ones where her cossie could be vanished from her tiny body with a shake of your wrist (this moved the ink so that the picture underneath was revealed). Well Mavericks and the guys over at Virtual Architects have made it all possible again with their latest campaign that launches today.

The campaign is based around something called #StripTweet. In essence Mavericks will be housing a picture of one of their gorgeous dancers on a microsite which starts its life blurred out. As tweets roll in (with the Mavericks handle and the specific #StripTweet hashtag included), the picture will slowly start to unblur, unveiling parts of the dancer, until you are eventually able to see the #mooiness in all her glory once the max count is reached.

If it takes off they’re planning on running with it on a weekly basis. Much better than Follow Friday me thinks. Yay. Get tweeting!
