Markus Schulz SA Tour supported by Aly & Fila
Electronic dance music fans in South Africa have been blessed with witnessing some fantastic acts, with the latest additions to the list coming in the form of Markus Schulz and Aly & Fila. Markus was recently voted America’s #1 DJ by The DJ Times and World #13 and is set to perform for the first time ever in Cape Town on the 8th of March and in Jozi on the 9th of March while being supported by Egyptian trance duo and World #19, Aly & Fila.
Markus, fondly referred to as the “unicorn slayer” is a German DJ and producer of progressive trance and house music who is currently based out of Miami, Florida. Playing over 150 gigs a year, he has become the busiest international DJ playing out of the United States.
Back in 2003 Aly & Fila burst into the international clubbing consciousness with their massive hit “Eye of Horus”. Their gorgeous, euphoric, uplifting blend of sweeping trance has seen them rise to A-list status alongside the likes of Armin van Buuren, Blank & Jones, Johan Gielen, Tall Paul and more. Voted #19 by the DJ Mag top 100 DJs in 2012, it is Aly & Fila’s third consecutive appearance on this list. Their own record label, Future Sound of Egypt has also become a beacon for trance around the world.
Local artists supporting Schulz in Cape Town include Speedy, Jason 47 and Ginetix while ravers out in Jozi will see the likes of Dj Zaxx, James Damian, Dirty Herz, Tyronne Scott and SK9 providing the backup.

So what’s doing the rotation is what is fed to us at each party and daily allowing us to always be living in the present, thanks to every1 that makes it possible so that we can identify the future
and always be moving ahead:-)
