Jordy Smith wins J-Bay Classic
Well done to Jordy Smith for winning the 2010 J-Bay Classic. The 22 year old won his first J-Bay Classic infront of a massive crowd. I spoke to a mate who was there who said the vibe was so insane and the beach was PACKED! Jordy beat Adam Melling in the final and claimed the lead in the rankings by over taking all time great Kelly Slater. Another feat the young South African surfer now has under his belt. I think he is going to become one of the greatest surfer’s ever!
Jordy Smith wins the J-Bay Classic, Louis Oosthuizen destroyed his competition and won the 139th British Open at St Andrew’s last and one of the biggest legends of South Africa, Madiba celebrated his 92nd Birthday! South African couldn’t have asked for a better weekend, well maybe if the Bokke won it would have been better but all in all a great weekend for South Africa!
