J. Scott Campbell’s provocative fairytale fantasies collection
Jeffrey Scott Campbell, known as J. Scott Campbell in the comic book world, rose to fame as an artist for Wildstorm Comics, though he has also done work for Marvel Comics and the videogame industry. He became most famous for being the original artist and co-creator of Danger Girl, which is a series basically about busty, scantily-clad secret agents round around doing…. I don’t know, secret agent stuff? I’m not sure if Danger Girl was always about the storylines anyways.
Mr J Scott Campbell decided expand his field of creativity and released a collection of artworks this year called “Fairytale Fantasies” which are…. well… artworks of female characters from popular fairytales, but they are probably more appropriate for the dad’s wall in his pool room than in the daughters bedroom! These were used in a 2010 calendar. All I can say is that I’d love to meet family dad who thought this would be appropriate to put on the kitchen wall!
