HALO presents Future Heroes at Carnage (18 Nov)

HALO is arguably responsible for the premier offering in the sound of Trance and Progressive in South Africa. They’re known for bringing the latest in International electronic dance music to our ears through there weekly radio show as well as unearthing the best local talent in these genres. It’s time for their annual event called Future Heroes, which is aimed at giving back to the Cape Town Trance & Progressive Family, with this year’s edition, of what was arguably, the best supported ‘locally based’ Trance & Progressive event of last year.

Over the past year, the HALO Crew has kept an eye on the general proceedings in and around the Cape Town Trance & Progressive scene, once again receiving numerous guest mixes and
promo’s from aspiring artists across the country… keeping a keen eye out for any bubbling local talent, that they feel have the attributes, to perform and entertain on the auspicious, HALO ‘FUTURE HEROES’ stage.

This year, they’ve made THREE 60 Minutes Slots available, once again at strategic points throughout the night’s entertainment for the selected Artists to showcase their talents.

The three Artists selected are…

Two of the acts were selected by the boys over at HALO along with the ‘HALO Horde’, with the third slot being filled for the first time by a promo mix submission competition. Supporting this year’s ‘Future Heroes’, is Future Heroes 2010’s ‘Set Of The Night’ winner, Dale Rother, as well as the ‘HALO Live’ hosts, Scott Small and Shaun Holiday.

Once again, CARNAGE CLAREMONT plays host, this time, as the ‘canvas’ of this year’s HALO ‘FUTURE HEROES’ experience. New to this year’s event, they’ve contracted the guys at West Coast Productions, whom they co-produced Marcel Woods ‘MUSICAL MADNESS’ with in March earlier this year, to upgrade and kit out the arena in true HALO fashion, with Mungus Fungus (MF Productions) once again, in control of the venue Décor.

Cover charge is set at R30 (R20 with Student Card), keeping the occasion extremely affordable, having taken the time of year into consideration, ensuring the best value for money experience a Cape Town Club can offer for a nights entertainment.
