Gordon Mackay A.K.A. El Gordo began mixing records at the tender age of 10. Since his first stage appearance in 2009 he has quickly risen to join the ranks of some of Cape Towns’ finest. Playing regularly at The Assembly’s notable ‘Discotheque’ parties he has already shared the stage with a host of international artists, as well as played at some of the countries top outdoor music festivals.

Taking influence from a broad spectrum of electronica, he possesses an impeccable ability of playing the right thing at the right time, be it indie, techno, electro or breaks, El Gordo is a reputed dance floor dictator and has already accrued a loyal following for his signature style of beat selection. With set plans to study music production in 2011 & 2012, this DJ is one to keep an eye on.
