Classic Fugard Films At The Fugard Theatre Bioscope 7 – 11 June 2011
From time to time the boys here at MyCityByNight have the sudden urge to get a little bit cultural and do something that doesnt involve getting rather hammered from doing too many body shots. The Fugard Theatre is giving us and the rest of Cape Town an opportunity to turn from our evil ways and enjoy a week of Classic Fugard Films in celebration and recognition of Athol Fugard receiving a Tony Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to theatre. He will be receiving his award in New York on the 12th June 2011.
From the 7th to the 11th of June screenings will start at 8pm and hot soup, garlic bread, wine and a warm atmosphere will await patrons at the Fugard Theatre in Town. The theatre has recently been fitted out with new cinema–style seats and cinema quality projection and surround sound systems.
