Castle Cape Town Tens 2013 (Win Tickets)

It’s always a good idea to get out of the house to enjoy some sport being played live, possibly sneaking in a Castle Lager as refreshment. Your next chance to do that is The Castle Cape Town Tens, the world’s biggest Tens tournament, which is fast approaching.

The tournament kicks off at Hamilton’s Rugby Club on the 1st and 2nd February and will be an awesome day out, with this being the 5 year Anniversary. The tourney features top-class music acts, a kiddies play area, International and Local Rugby Legends (like Bob Skinstad and Rob Fleck), a beer garden, Red Heart Rum Experience Zone and of course plenty of rugger.

There are going to be more than 90 teams spread over five divisions, including the new “We’re mainly here for the beer” division (sounds like our division), taking to the manicured fields at Tens.

As always, Cape Town Tens has selected a solid list of artists including aKing, Goodluck, Albert Frost, DJ Sox (Hi Sox, see I didn’t call you names this time), Lonesome Dave, SA/DC and Tens favourites Me & Mr Brown throughout the weekend.

Then there’s the “kick for poles” competition from Stor-Age, SA’s leading self storage company. Basically, you get the chance to go for a conversion and the incredible prize of a Golf GTI to the value of R385 000 at the tournament! Check out the winning kick from Doug Mallet last year over here.

Tickets are R70 for adults and R50 for students available from www.webtickets.co.za, kids under 12 free. For more info visit www.capetowntens.com.
