Cape Train to Cuba

Having been around the nightlife scene for as long as we have, we’re constantly looking for parties that offer up something a little bit different. This event, put together by the crew at Make-Believe features a Metrorail train, some cultured beats and a fairly safe way to go about your partying.

At the end of August (25th, which is payday for most), a Metrorail train will for the first time in history be associated with a fantastic time as it is hired for the use of the 200 party-goers, bound on a journey to the Cape To Cuba Restaurant in Kalk Bay. Once in Kalk Bay everyone gets the chance to escape the city for an evening of cocktails, tasty food, sexy music, beautiful people and a refreshing environment slap bang when Happy Hour is in full swing (17h00-19h00) .
While you’re on the train:
Stocked with alcohol, dj gear, LED lighting and satellite speakers – the train will transform into a mobile dancefloor as Lady M (outbound trip) sets the mood for what lies ahead in Kalk Bay, and Clint Dodgen (inbound trip) takes everyone to another level as they head back towards town.
