Cape Town gets a 9/10 from tourists- even after they’ve been robbed… NICE

So none of us over here at MyCityBynight are in disagreement over the fact that Cape Town is an awesome place to live and play- so you can imagine our excitement when we came across this little bit of scientific research conducted by the Western Cape Department of labour at the Cape Town International Airport.

9 out of 10 Soccer World Cup visitors to Cape Town felt safe during their time down South. Of the 50 people polled leaving the fairest Cape the average rating of awesome given to Cape Town was 9.06- which is far higher than the gangster’s paradise (also known as joburg), which leaves most visitors feeling the need to pop their collar and klap some gym china.

One guy polled at the airport was so over-awed with Cape Town that he still gave us a 9- AFTER being robbed on Long Street.
