Balling4CPT 26th February 2012 – Get involved in this Charity Initiative

Balling4CPT is an initiative set up by a group of guys in Cape Town looking to bring the city together in order to raise money for charity while creating an enjoyable day of football and entertainment for everyone involved. I just happen to be one of those four guys.

The idea is simple, a 12 team tournament made up of different Cape Town celebs, radio stations, companies and bloggers who will all pay a fee to enter, all of which will be passed straight on to the charity that we finally choose to back (The charity recipient has not yet been selected).

The day out (26^th February 2012) will be completely non-profit for everyone organising it and is merely a chance for us luckier folk to give back to those that haven’t had similar opportunities in life, but to have a good time doing it.

The plan for the day is to have all sorts of different people involved, comedians, DJ’s, some celebs, footballers, that sort of gig, and to charge people a minimal fee of R20 and/or an item of clothing or canned food which can be used to help the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves.
