Bakkies gets 9 week ban! Should be longer!
I am sick and tired of this so called “religious” idiot running around and taking the law into his own hands on the rugby field. I used to enjoy watching him as the “enforcer” but now he has turned into a thug. Yes, I am talking about Bakkies Botha! After watching his disgraceful heat butt to Jimmy Cowan on Saturday’s opening Tri Nation’s game, he has been cited and given a 9 week ban. I don’t think thats long enough either. Just 6 weeks ago, he ran head first into Gio Aplon in the final game of the Super 14 league matchs, leaving him unconcious for a few minutes. Unfortunately the citing commitee thought that 9 weeks was enough and that his punishment will see him un-able to play another Tri Nation’s game. Well done, asshole!
To do that in the Green and Gold is just disgraceful(Ofcourse I havent forgotten about Schalk), especially in the 10th minute of the game. As the dutchmen would say “Hou jou kop” and keep it clean, you would be a much better player. You would be know as legend and not a thug as the world see’s you now! I hope he has learnt his lesson, but I doubt this. Let’s just wait and see…

Has bekker been chosen to replace Bakkies or Russouw? We first need the line out’s be worked on, I thought that was our downfall on Saturday…

nothing official yet… but i think they might favour bekker over rossouw… some extra height for the line out… but can bekker handle the physicality.. only time will tell
now the ball is in bekker's court… he wants the number 4 jersey… this is his time to prove himself!
